Masoretic Text[1]
|
2:1
|
Why do the nations conspire, and
the peoples plot in vain?
|
לָמָּה
רָגְשׁוּ
גֹויִם
וּלְאֻמִּים
יֶהְגּוּ־רִיק
|
2:2
|
The kings of the earth set
themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and his
anointed, saying,
|
יִתְיַצְּבוּ מַלְכֵי־אֶרֶץ
וְרֹוזְנִים
נֹוסְדוּ־יָחַד
עַל־יְהוָה וְעַל־מְשִׁיחֹו
|
3:6
|
I lie
down and sleep; I wake again, for the LORD sustains me.
|
אֲנִי
שָׁכַבְתִּי
וָאִישָׁנָה הֱקִיצֹותִי
כִּי יְהוָה
יִסְמְכֵנִי
|
6:7
|
I am
weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my
couch with my weeping.
|
יָגַעְתִּי
בְּאַנְחָתִי
אַשְׂחֶה
בְכָל־לַיְלָה
מִטָּתִי בְּדִמְעָתִי עַרְשִׂי

|
6:10
|
The LORD
hears my supplication; the LORD accepts my prayer. (my trans.)
|
שָׁמַע
יְהוָה
תְּחִנָּתִי
יְהוָה
תְּפִלָּתִי

|
7:15
|
See how
they conceive evil, and are pregnant with mischief, and bring forth lies.
|
הִנֵּה

|
11:5
|
The
LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, and his soul hates the lover of
violence.
|
יְהוָה

יִבְחָן
וְרָשָׁע
וְאֹהֵב חָמָס

16:9
|
Therefore
my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also rests secure.

23:5
|
You
prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head
with oil; my cup overflows.

I
do not sit with the worthless, nor do I consort with hypocrites
|
לֹא־יָשַׁבְתִּי

|
26:5
|
I hate
the company of evildoers, and do not sit with the wicked. (my trans.)
|
נֵאתִי
קְהַל
מְרֵעִים
וְעִם־רְשָׁעִים
לֹא אֵשֵׁב
|
26:12
|
My foot
stands on level ground; in the great congregation I bless the LORD. (my
trans.)

But the
wicked perish, and the enemies of the LORD are like the glory of the
pastures; they vanish-- like smoke they vanish away.

My
friends and companions stand aloof from my affliction, and my neighbors stand
far off.

tempest all around him
